CT Reconstruction of Hemopneumothorax
Hemopneumothorax is the combination of two medical conditions:
pneumothorax and hemothorax
InVesalius was used to create a 3D model using data from computed tomography (CT). The project was then converted to Zbrush, where realistic features and anatomical components were sculpted. After sculpting the fundamental anatomy, it was exported to Keyshot. To offer a greater understanding, the finishing touches and realistic characteristics were applied.
Modeling and refining the soft tissue extracted from the CT scans in Zbrush
Filling in holes and molding details into the bones taken from CT data
Refining the placement of the anatomy
Adding liquid in the lung model to demonstrate the condition
Exporting the ZBrush model into Keyshot to apply texture effects for realistic results
Overlaying the Zbrush models to replicate what is seen during computed tomography
